“Rolling Stone” divulga lista de 500 melhores músicas da história; confira
Após famosos brilharam no Met Gala 2021 , a revista “Rolling Stone” publicou nesta quarta-feira (15) uma nova listagem com as “500 melhores canções de todos os tempos”. A seleção foi criada no ano de 2004, e, desde então, não passou por revisões. Para acompanhar o cenário musical de quase duas décadas depois, a revista decidiu reavaliar e republicar a lista. Mais de 250 artistas, produtores, músicos, críticos e jornalistas foram convocados para participar da nova votação e montagem da nova classificação de músicas. De acordo com o portal, quase 4 mil canções receberam votos. Cada um dos convocados para a votação enviou uma lista de 50 músicas. O resultado obtido a partir dessa listagem foram tratados e publicados pela revista.
Das 500 músicas selecionadas, 254 não faziam parte da lista antiga e um terço dessas novas músicas está incluso no Top 100. Segundo a análise do site, a predominância dos gêneros Rock e Soul antigos na classificação de 2004 deu lugar à presença maior do hip-hop, country moderno, indie rock, pop latino, reggae e R&B. “Respect”, de Aretha Franklin, foi considerada a melhor canção de todos os tempos pela lista atualizada. Entre as músicas da nova seleção, apenas uma é brasileira. “Ponta de Lança Africano (Umbabarauma)”, de Jorge Ben, foi lançada em 1976, ocupa a 351ª colocação na nova lista.
Apesar de críticas e polêmicas com relação a fatores como a grande quantidade de músicas antigas e ausência de artistas e bandas renomadas como Eminem, Mettallica, Rihanna e Led Zeppelin no topo da listagem, a ideia da nova publicação é refletir o processo de mudança no mundo da música com o decorrer dos anos.
